Amy grew up in a small town on a grain/cattle farm. She knew from a young age she wanted to work with animals.
After graduating high school, she attended Red River College and took Animal Health Technology. Amy graduated in spring of 2008 and became registered in summer of 2008.
Once graduated, Amy worked at a mixed animal practice for a few years and has worked at a small animal practice for the last five years.
Amy loves working with animals, and in 2013 decided she wanted to do even more with them. She started researching schools and courses in Canine Massage. In 2014 she attended Canine Institute of Equine and Canine Body Works for an intensive, comprehensive, hands-on course and externship. In April 2015, Amy became a Certified Canine Bodyworker (CCBW)!
Amy keeps busy with her husband Rob and their furry friend Jazz. Jazz is a lovable, blonde, male Lab cross who Amy and Rob try not to spoil rotten. He is a very attentive and well behaved gentleman, and his adopted parents love to take him out on adventures. Whether these adventures take him out to the family farm to romp through the pasture with the cows, or running through the bush in Kenora, they almost always end with a fun swim in the lake!
